Reflection

Tuesday 21st March – Museum Visit

Today we visited the Museum of London. I must say that the museum exceptionally exceeded my expectations. Considering that it was free, I was not expecting the standard of it to be any way similar to other Museums, I have visited. While I was there, I took pictures of the objects or artefacts which amazed me or really made me think. I was slightly disappointed as I was not able to see what I planned on seeing, that being the head of Mithos. Upon entering the Museum, I though it looked splendid, due to the surrounding buildings and architecture, as well as its own building. I spent roughly an hour and 30 minutes looking around and taking pictures. Overall, it was a fantastic day of research.

Monday 20th March- Layers of London

Introduction reflection

Today we was introduced to our final project. Richard briefed us on what was the aim and intentions of the final project. As a Londoner, I strongly believe that London is single handily, one of the greatest cities in all of the world. Born and raised in London, I have seen all types of different individuals ranging from factory workers to respected business men and women. London is essentially the hotspot of diversity. By this, I mean the people, the cultures and the religions. Since the Second World War, vast amounts of different cultures and religions have fused together to build a more diverse London.

My Purpose

I believe that my purpose is to spread positivity and joy when and where I can. Every individual has a high and low in their life and majority of a time they may need someone to help them in way. Whether it is by talking to them or helping them with their issues. I am firm believer that one way or another that spreading love and joy is essential to every heart. As of now the world looks fairly grim due to all the political agendas set out by a particular individual called Trump. However since the beginning of time, humans have been battling against any form of discrimination or racism.

Lessons I have learnt

Hate and anger will get you nowhere, maybe a short burst of happiness will emerge from it, and however one will not necessarily live a good life. From life, from people, from culture and religion, I have learnt there is going to be good and bad no matter what.

Reflection

Museum Of London

On my visit to the museum, I plan on going to the “London before London” section. This intrigues me as I have always wanted to know what London was like before it became today. I also want to see the head of Mithras as I have an interest in Zoroastrianism.
